Text: There will be a lot of maps on all of my atlas pages. The text would be on the smaller size maybe around 16 or 18 point size. Color: I think that all the different maps should have bold colors. There are going to be four or five different maps for each city I do. The colors need to be attractive and bold for easy viewing of the demographic change. Graphics: I do not think that pie charts and histograms will work with my atlas. I also do not think that I will be using any photographs or drawings. My map is pretty standard. It will probably be strictly maps and a little text. Layout and Overall Design: Since the audience is for young children the map should be pretty consistent in its overall layout such as similar placement of scales, titles, and north arrows.
